Who will you vote for 2008?

Hey guys,

This site was mentioned during one of the presentations and I JUST HAD TO find out who the internet people think I should vote for......Mike Gravel? I don't know him, and I probably never will because his website is Lame-ity Lame Lame!

Anyway, here is the quiz site:

I was matched with someone I wouldn't actually consider voting for too. It's really interesting to look at the overall results. The republicans overall have higher scores. Of the Democrats, the far-left impossible candidates get about twice the votes of the mainstream candidates. Maybe that's because people are split between more options on the Democratic side? Whereas Republicans are going mostly for Giuliani and Romney? Only those who are on the far left and far right are bothering to take this sort of quiz? Also, more Republicans are voting overall. And these are the top-rated issues in terms of immportance:

* Abortion
* Iraq Surge
* Free Trade
* Same Sex Civil Unions
* Embryonic Stem Cell Research

Clearly skewed to one side. I wonder how people are finding this site.

That's actually a different site than the one I found. That one seems to be run by some military-affiliated group, which might explain the conservative skew. Here's the quiz I took: http://www.usatoday.com/news/politics/election2008/candidate-match-game.htm on USA Today.

While I think we need to obviously rely on methods other than just an online quiz to make a decision, the quizzes are still pretty interesting.

I couldn'y believe the candidate I was matched with after taking the quiz. I thought that I was a die-hard Hilary supporter but I was paired with a different candidate. It gives me pause. I am reflecting on my decision.

Scary and informative all at once. Thanks for posting the quiz. Everyone planning to vote in the presidential election should participate. Thanks.
